Target Audience
This course is designed for marine engineers, engine officers, and technical personnel engaged in the operation and maintenance of marine engines.

The course provides participants with essential knowledge and practical understanding of MAN B&W electronically controlled ME engines. It is aimed at developing competence in:

By the end of the course, participants will be equipped to operate modern MAN B&W ME engines safely, efficiently, and reliably onboard vessels.

Training Approaches and Equipment
The training combines both theory and practice. Theoretical instruction is delivered through PowerPoint presentations, while practical sessions utilize the Wärtsilä TechSim9 simulator, featuring a vessel model equipped with a MAN ME engine.
