Wärtsilä RT-Flex – Basic Training (Digital Delivery)
Target Audience
This course is intended for ship engineers, electrical engineers, and technical superintendents engaged in the daily operation of vessels equipped with 2-stroke Wärtsilä RT-Flex engine systems.
Course Objective
The course provides participants with fundamental knowledge of RT-Flex engine components, hydraulic and pneumatic control systems, as well as the WECS 9520 Control System. Participants will also gain hands-on experience with the engine simulator. The course meets the objectives of STCW Code sections A-III/1 and A-III/2.

Training Approaches and Equipment
The course combines theoretical and practical training. Lectures are delivered through PowerPoint presentations, while practical exercises are conducted using RT-Flex simulation equipment with the latest software version (SW083).
