Target Audience
This course is intended for beginners and intermediate welders who wish to develop or enhance their skills in Manual Metal Arc (MMA) welding.

- Study of different arc welding power sources and accessories
- Welding consumables: selection, data sheets, and applications
- Use and maintenance of welding protective gear
- Techniques for depositing fillet welds with high recovery electrodes
- Air carbon arc gouging system: principles, applications, and safety precautions
- Step-by-step guide for setting up the air carbon arc gouging system
- Practical gouging of fillet welds using the air carbon arc gouging method
Training Approaches and Equipment
- Interactive Lectures: Detailed explanation of welding theory and techniques
- Practical Workshops: Supervised hands-on welding practice
- Modern Welding Equipment: Training includes use of industry-standard MMA welding machines such as:
- Renegade ES 300i (ESAB): Inverter-based MMA/Stick and LiveTIG machine
- UWW-161 TP Multi Process Welding Inverter (UNITOR)
- UWI-203 TP Stick / TIG Welding Inverter (UNITOR)
- UWI-320 TP Welding Inverter (UNITOR)
- Safety Gear: Full provision of PPE for all participants
